Charlie has worked at The Weiss Gallery since 2015, having previously interned at Bonhams and Lyon & Turnbull in Edinburgh. He gained an MA (Hons) in History of Art at the University of Aberdeen and worked as a gallery attendant at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery during the summer recesses. He has contributed to publications including the Burlington Magazine and independently researchs several areas of Scottish art history, primarily 17th & 18th century portraitists practicing in Scotland. He is a keen supporter of the arts in Scotland being an active collector of traditional and contemporary Scottish art and Friend of the National Galleries of Scotland.
